BUXA FORT

The 'Buxa Detenue Camp' (1912-1930), popularly known as Buxa Fort. During the regime of the East India Company it was used as a Barrack for the BengalNative Infantry (1864-65). Buxa Duar is a Treekers' Paradise With uniquehills and nature's splendour. it takes one to places where nature is yet in her primeval majesty, to a number of trekking routes thorugh forest cover with its splendid beauty, to different hiil tops & valleys.
